Pakistan Gilgit Baltistan declared COVID free by National dashboard

Gilgit Baltistan has been declared ‘Covid Free’ by the National Dashboard after no case was recorded in the past 24 hours.
According to the National Dashboard, the active cases toll in Gilgit Baltistan is now zero, however, administrative territory recorded 4,959 infections, and 104 deaths since outbreak.
On the other hand, 53 more deaths and 2,258 new cases of COVID-19 were reported across the country over the last 24 hours. According to the latest statistics, 566,493 people have so far recovered from the disease.
It merits mentioning here that the spring break of two weeks in all public and private schools of Lahore, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Rawalpindi, Multan and Sialkot will be observed from Monday.
Punjab Minister for Education Murad Raas in a tweet said restrictions on co-curricular activities will also remain effective in these districts till 28th of this month. He also said that all Public and Private schools in rest of the Districts will follow regular schedule.
