LAHORE: Defence Minister Pervez Khattak and Prime Minister’s Special Assistant Naeem ul Haq called on Governor Punjab Muhammad Sarwar at the Governor’s House here on Sunday.
Defence Minister Pervez Khattak and Special Assistant Naeem ul Haq briefed the governor on the Indian aggression and response of Pakistan.
Speaking on the occasion, Governor Muhammad Sarwar said BJP had exposed real face of India by using pictures and videos of atrocities of Indian forces in the Indian Held Kashmir (IHK) as an election stunt to win support of Hindu extremist voters in the upcoming elections.
He expressed his disappointment at the apathy of the international community for turning a blind eye to brutality and inhumane treatment of the innocent Kashmiris by Indian occupation forces.
The governor called upon the UN and other international organisations to take notice of atrocities by the Indian forces.
He said the Pakistani nation stood by the Armed forces, adding that that no one including India should have doubt that defence of Pakistan was in strong hands.
The governor also paid tributes to Pakistan Air Force for defending the air space of the country and averting Indian aggression in a befitting way. Both leaders applauded diplomatic efforts of Governor Muhammad Sarwar for de-escalation of Indian aggression.
