KARACHI: MQM former member of Rabita Committee Waseem Aftab and sitting MPA Iftikhar Alam also decided to leave MQM and joined Mustafa Kamal here at Thursday.
As per details, Wasim Aftab was addressing a press conference flanked by Iftikhar Alam and Anees Qaim Khani here at the DHA residence of Mustafa Kamal.
Wasim Aftab said that he joined MQM for struggling to end the brutality but when he made member of Rabita Committee, lots of secrets were revealed to him. It is very difficult to stand before “Yazeediat” and support “Hussainiat” in life but now the time has come to stand against the cruel.
The allegation of RAW-MQM links is not wrong but it is difficult to prove it, he added. Talking about the PPP and MQM relations, he said that the party neither remained part of the government nor went against it adding that we could not get even a single benefit for the people of Karachi from provincial governments.
Speaking at the occasion, Iftikhar Alam announced to resign from the membership of Provincial Assembly saying that he had been trying to prove his loyalty for 28 years but he always had to face disappointment.
He alleged that Altaf Hussain wants to stand with Urdu speaking community against the state adding that he is hungry for dead bodies for his own politics.
