Development of newly merged tribal areas top priority in next budget: PM

Prime Minister Imran Khan says progress and development of newly merged tribal areas is the major priority in upcoming budget.
He was speaking during briefing of 2019-20 budget of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in Islamabad today (Monday).
The meeting briefed about the basic structure of the budget.
It was apprised that special focus is being paid to enhance economic resources of the province.
To ensure development of newly merged areas with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Prime Minister directed that austerity measures should be taken according to the economic situation of the country.
The Prime Minister also appreciated suggestions from federal departments in cutting down expenses.
He said savings of these cut downs will be spent on development of less developed areas.
