Acting President emphasizes ensuring free, fair elections

ISLAMABAD: Acting President Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani has emphasized on ensuring free, fair and transparent elections in the country.
He was speaking at an Iftar dinner in Islamabad last evening in honor of Federal Cabinet, caretaker Chief Ministers and Governors.
Sadiq Sanjrani asked the caretaker governments to fulfill their constitutional obligation of facilitating the Election Commission to hold the elections in transparent way.
He said free and fair election will not only strengthen democracy but constitutional institutions will play an effective role in national progress.
Members of Federal Cabinet and all caretaker Chief Ministers on the occasion expressed their determination to make all out efforts for ensuring free and fair elections.
