Parliamentary committee meetings for TORs wastage of time: Shah Mahmood

ISLAMABAD: The seventh meeting of the parliamentary committee could not reach on any consensus regarding the Terms of References to probe into the issue of Panama leaks as deadlock persisted between government and opposition members in this regard.
As per details, the seventh meeting of Parliamentary committee meeting was held here at today in Parliament House in a bid to end deadlock which persisted between both sides but committee could not succeed in any major breakthrough regarding Terms of References.
Talking to media after the meeting, PPP senior leader Aitzaz Ahsan said that government is not sincere in resolving the issue of Panama leaks as government want to safe Sharif family from Accountability.
Speaking at the occasion, PTI Vice Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi alleged that government is wasting time in Parliamentary committee meetings as its members are not ready to resolve the issue of Panama leaks.
He further added that other opposition members in parliamentary committee have been advised by him not to attend committee meetings as it’s just wastage of time and he would also discuss the issue with party leader Imran Khan.
