ISLAMABAD-Legendary spinner Mushtaq Ahmed has said that Pakistan are more than capable of beating England.
Pakistan are scheduled to play three Tests and three T20 Internationals against England, with the first Test starting on August 5 and the T20 series beginning on August 28.
Many former players have said that the series will be a tough one for Pakistan, but Mushtaq, who will be the national team’s spin bowling coach and mentor during the tour of England, feels that “we have the players that can not only compete but also win the series”.
“What makes me really happy is that the players and support staff are working together on team goals and objectives and I am sure in due course the players will be fully aware and ready for the new challenges as we prepare for what is expected to be a tough series against a strong English team in their own backyard,” Mushtaq was quoted as saying by PakPassion.
