Boxer Mohammad Waseem vows to bring fly weight World Title to Pakistan

ISLAMABAD - Boxer Muhammad Wasim is looking forward to become the first ever Pakistani to win the International Boxing Federation’s flyweight world title.
Wasim, the two-time former WBC world silver flyweight champion, is ready to fight South Africa’s Moruti Mthalane for the vacant IBF flyweight title on July 15 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Waseem has been undefeated in eight professional starts. Whereas, on the other hand, his opponent Mthalane has won 35 of his 37 career fights.
The contest will be highlighted as part of the under-card to the welterweight world title showdown between Manny Pacquiao and Lucas Matthysse.
Muhammad Wasim hails from Quetta, is the first Pakistani to clinch the WBA world silver belt by beating Jether Oliva of Philippines on July 17, 2016. He has also been ranked as top boxer in the rankings released by WBC for June 2017.
Waseem vs Mthalane fight will be aired on July 15, Sunday at 5am Pakistani time.
In a video message, Waseem shared his preparedness for the fight and requested his fans to pray for his success.
