Punjab Rangers deployed in Lahore for law order and security after PIC Attack

Lahore: Amidst lawyers’ assault on Punjab Institute of Cardiology and ensuing violence, Punjab government on Wednesday summoned Rangers to protect important buildings and places of the Lahore.

As per details garnered, a notification in this regard has been issued.

Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar had been given initial report of attack on PIC by lawyers.

According to the report presented to CM Buzdar, 200 to 250 lawyers attacked PIC after premeditated planning.

The report revealed that two female lawyers took pictures of PIC half hour before the arrival of lawyers rally.

“Six doctors including Dr Fizza, Dr Sadaf and Dr Adnan became victim of torture likewise, serious patients also got affected from stones and bricks pelted by lawyers”, report revealed.

Furthermore, report also stated that lawyers also threatened patients’ relatives.

Earlier today, violent lawyers stormed into the Punjab Institute of Cardiology and broke windows of the emergency ward and several vehicles parked nearby after their dispute escalated with doctors over an alleged torture of a lawyer by doctors.
