CJP inaugurates newly constructed building of SC Registry in Quetta

Chief justice Supreme Court of Pakistan, Mian Saqib Nisar inaugurated the newly constructed building of Supreme Court Registry in Quetta on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Justice said the project has been completed as a result of collective efforts made by the concerned officials and engineers.
Addressing a luncheon given in his honour by Balochistan High Court Bar and Quetta Bar in Quetta today, Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar says rights of Balochistan will be protected and no injustice will be allowed to happen with the province.
He said Balochistan is an important province of Pakistan, which is blessed with rich mineral resources. Chief Justice Balochistan High Court Tahira Safdar and other senior lawyers were also present in the ceremony.
The Chief Justice said the number of benches in Balochistan High Court had been increased three months ago. He said a registry of Supreme Court will also be established in Balochistan soon in which the province will be given complete representation.
Mian Saqib Nisar said representation of Balochistan in Islamabad High Court has also been increased to 9 + 1 from 6 + 1. The Chief Justice said the people of Balochistan gave great response to dam fund appeal.
The Chief Justice said the issue of water availability in Balochistan has become critical and it requires immediate measures to protect the coming generations. He lamented that the previous government did not play their due role in this regard.
