Corps Commander Karachi General Naveed Mukhtar meets CM Sindh; Karachi operation discussed

KARACHI: Corps Commander Karachi General Naveed Mukhtar met with Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah at CM House in Karachi. Security matters were discussed in the meeting. Matters related to ongoing targeted operation, implementation of National Action Plan and powers of Rangers also came under discussion. CM Sindh has expressed his reservation to extend the powers of Rangers. He has said that the matter of extension would be discussed in Sindh Assembly.
