PDMA Sindh issues flood alert

Provincial Disaster Management Authority Sindh has issued flood alert in the province due to fresh spell of monsoon rains.
In a statement, PDMA said that flash floods may affect inhabitants in Katcha areas and their livestock as well.
The medium flood has been recorded in river Indus at Guddu and Sukkur barrages, whereas there is low flood at Kotri barrage.
At Guddu barrage, up stream flow was recorded three hundred seventy eight thousand cusecs and down stream three thousand sixty thousand cusecs.
At Sukkur barrage three hundred twenty four thousand cusecs inflow and two hundred ninety eight thousand cusecs outflow was recorded today.
