150 Taliban killed in Afghanistan clashes

KABUL: In Afghanistan, 16 policemen and 150 Taliban have been killed during clashes when Taliban launched an attack and seized many parts of Ghazni city early on Friday.
Afghan Defence Ministry said U.S. attack helicopters and drone aircraft provided government forces with air support.
Another Taliban attack, in western Herat province, left six policemen dead in the district of Obe. (AP/Reuters)
