LHC suspends life sentence of Hanif Abbasi in ephedrine case

LAHORE - Lahore High Court suspended the life sentence awarded to PML-N leader Hanif Abbasi in the ephedrine quota case in Lahore today [Thursday].
A two-member Bench, headed by Justice Alia Neelum, after hearing detailed arguments from both sides accepted Abbasi's plea to suspend the sentence.
The Court has also ordered his release on bail. The court, however, declared that it will continue to hear the case
