Chinese President expresses full support for Pakistan’s sovereignty, territorial integrity

ISLAMABAD:Pakistan and China have agreed to further deepen cooperation in all areas of bilateral relations.
The agreement was reached during the meeting between Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Chinese President Xi Jinping in Hainan on the sideline of Boao Forum for Asia annual Conference.
While expressing full support for Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, President Xi said that China wishes to further deepen its friendship and strategic cooperation with Pakistan.
He appreciated Pakistan’s contribution in addressing the challenge of terrorism and also commended Pakistan’s relentless efforts for working towards a peaceful neighbourhood.
President Xi said that industrial parks will be a new growth path for Pakistan’s industrialization.
The Prime Minister congratulated President Xi on his re-election as President of the People’s Republic of China.
He briefed the Chinese President on Pakistan’s efforts for successful implementation of CPEC. APP/AFP
