Operation Raad-ul-Fasaad: 250 miscreants arrested in DG Khan

DERA GHAZI KHAN: Sector Commander Desert Punjab Rangers Brigadier Arshad Mehmood said 250 miscreants had been arrested while another 10 terrorists were killed so far during the on-going Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad in Dera Ghazi Khan Division.
Similarly, police have registered nearly 137 FIRs against suspects, he said, adding Operation "Radd-ul-Fasaad" was not only a joint operation of forces but also of all those citizens who loved their motherland.
Talking to media persons at Circuit House here on Monday, Sector Commander Desert Punjab Rangers Brigadier Arshad Mehmood shared details of operation Night Hunt, carried out in mountains of Chehr Thal, on April 8.
He informed that Punjab Rangers, Punjab Police and Border Military Police jointly took part in the operation. The forces killed terrorists identified as Pir Bukhsh alias Piro, Zulfiqar alias Zulfi and Khuda Bukhsh, and recovered huge amount of arms. In the exchange of fire, one Jawan of Rangers had embraced martyrdom, he added.
On this occasion, RPO DG Khan Division Rehmat Ullah Niaz was also present. (APP)
