No one would be allowed to use D-Chowk and F-9 for political designs: Ch. Nisar


ISLAMABAD: Ch. Nisar, Interior Minister made it clear that no one would be allowed to hold any political gathering here at D-Chowk and F-9 and strict action would be taken by government if any one tries to challenge the writ of the government.

 

While addressing a press conference here at today (Monday) in Islamabad he categorically rejected the PTI request for holding political gathering here at F-9 saying that public gathering is the issue of basic rights of Islamabad citizens.

 

Government will not let any protest take place in Islamabad, Ch. Nisar said adding that writ of the government would be established at any cost.

 

Talking about the previous religious parties sit-in protest in Islamabad, Ch. Nisar elaborated that government had to face loss of over Rs. 1 billion due to security of the protest but now no one would be allowed to seal federal capital at any cost.

 

Nisar further stated that he is ready to talk to Imran Khan over the issue adding that all the political parties should cooperate with government to ensure the security of federal capital.
