Why did Pakistan's speedster Shoaib Akhtar express gratitude for the rain causing the match to stop in Colombo?While sharing a video on his social media account, Shoaib Akhtar said he is thankful that Allah saved Pakistan by sending rain. He was visibly annoyed at the performance of Pakistani bowlers in today match.
He mentioned that earlier Pakistan had trapped India, and now the rain has saved us, for which he is thankful to Allah.
Shoaib Akhtar also mentioned that he doesn't think the match will resume now, as cricket fans eagerly await the rain to stop.
In the third match of the Super Four stage of the Asia Cup 2023, the India-Pakistan batting was underway when rain poured, leading to the match being stopped.
