Shahbaz Sharif hits out at PTI government over CPEC controversy

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) president Shehbaz Sharif has hit out at PTI government.
He termed alleged freezing of CPEC-related projects by the federal govt injustice to the nation.
Terming CPEC project a game changer in the region, the former Punjab CM urged Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) govt to restrain themselves from doing so.
The Sharif went on to say that Pakistan would benefit immensely from CPEC as it would expedite industry and agricultural-related projects in the country.
“People of Pakistan are shocked at the irresponsibility of PTI government, which is trying to undermine Pakistan-China strategic partnership, by speaking in the voice of our enemies on CPEC! We will resist & reject such conspiracies, our Chinese friends should rest assured”, stated Shehbaz in a statement shared on Tweeter.
