ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to field Aftab Siddiqui as its candidate from Karachi’s vacant NA-243 constituency, a private news channel quoting the sources reported today.

Prime Minister Imran Khan had won the seat after he bagged 91,358 votes in the July 25 general election, wheareas Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s Ali Raza Abidi managed to get 24,082 votes.
Other candidates were PPP’s Shehla Raza who got 10,631 votes, Muhammad Usama of MMA who received 16,214 votes and Pak Sarzameen’s Muhammad Muzamil Qureshi who only bagged 3,641 votes.
