Indian Muslims protest to demand 5% quota in jobs, education

NEW DELHI: In the India, thousands of Muslims have taken out a massive protest in Pune city of Maharashtra state, demanding ensuring of their rights.
The protestors were demanding five percent quota in jobs and education.
They were also demanding punishment for those behind lynching of Muslims in the name of 'gau raksha' or cow vigilantism.
Their other main demands were non-interference of government in Muslim personal law, compensation to youngsters who have spent major part of their lives in jails on false allegations of involvement in terrorist activities and no ban on Muslim education centers.
