Govt to devise media strategy to highlight important decisions

ISLAMABAD: A meeting on media strategy was held in Islamabad with Prime Minister Imran Khan in the chair.
It was attended by senior party leadership including Information Minister Chaudhry Fawad Hussain.
The meeting decided to devise a media strategy to highlight the achievements and important decisions of PTI government, including noticeable reduction in government expenditures, abolition of discretionary powers of the Prime Minister, and election of a middle class representative as Chief Minister Punjab.
It also decided to make details of lavish expenditures of PML-N government public.
Briefings will also be held on economic distress caused by the previous government, especially in energy and power sectors.
The meeting decided that all decisions will be taken with consensus by taking the parliament into confidence.
