Protest rally in London against violence on Rohingya Muslims

LONDON: A protest rally was held in London today against the continuing violence against Rohingya Muslims of Myanmar.

Speaking on the occasion, President of Arakan Rohaingya National Organization, Noorul Islam said the objective of the rally is to draw attention of the world community to the persecution of Rohingya Muslims.

Meanwhile, the number of Rohingya Muslims fleeing Myanmar for Bangladesh due to violence has risen to more than three hundred thousand.

The United Nations says there is desperate need for food, water and health services for the refugees staying in Cox's Bazaar district of Bangladesh.
