Pakistan and Russia decide to enhance partnership in security and other fields

Pakistan and Russia have affirmed their commitment to bolster bilateral collaboration across a range of sectors, encompassing security, economics, education, culture, and tourism.
This resolution was articulated during a meeting between Caretaker Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Murtaza Solangi, and Russian Ambassador Danila Ganich. Minister Solangi stressed the importance of expanding cooperation in diverse domains, such as media, drama, films, joint productions, and training programs.
He underscored Islamabad's profound appreciation for its ties with Moscow and its eagerness to further strengthen relations in these domains. Minister Solangi highlighted the enduring history of bilateral coordination between the two countries and the shared desire of the people and business community of Pakistan to foster stronger ties.
He expressed optimism that Pakistan-Russia relations would continue to prosper to meet the evolving needs of the time. The Russian Ambassador noted extensive cooperation between Moscow and Islamabad across all sectors, including mass media, and expressed Russia's keen interest in advancing cooperation with Pakistan, particularly in the realm of media.
He also mentioned the popularity of Pakistani dramas in Russia. Additionally, they discussed the upcoming visit of the Russian Minister for Digital Development, Communications, and Mass Media to Pakistan, with Minister Solangi extending a formal invitation for the visit."
