*HYDERABAD: Pakistan’s newly-inducted opener Abdullah Shafique scored a valiant century off 97 balls as he and star batter Mohammad Rizwan jointly scored more than 150-run partnership against Sri Lanka here at Rajiv Gandhi stadium, Hyderabad.*

Sri Lanka had won the toss and had chosen to bat first. Pakistan’s lacklustre bowling helped Sri Lanka pile up a huge 344. Pakistan lost two early wickets as both Imam-ul-Haq and Babar Azam only scored 12 and 10 respectively.
