Pak-Turk naval forces hold bilateral exercises in Mediterranean Sea

Naval forces of Pakistan and Turkey held bilateral exercises in East Mediterranean Sea, encompassing entire spectrum of Maritime operations aimed at creating an interactive environment.

Pakistan Navy Ship SAIF has participated in Exercises Mavi Balina 2018 and 2nd Bilateral Exercise Turgutreis-II during visit at Port Aksaz of Turkey.

According to a press release issued by Pakistan Navy, these exercises were aimed to enhance interoperability between the navies of Pakistan and Turkey through development of combined tactics, techniques and practices.

Commander Karachi Rear Admiral Asif Khaliq represented Chief of the Naval Staff, during his visit to Turkey.

PNS SAIF is fitted with state-of-the-art weapons and sensors for undertaking all types of Maritime Operations in multi-threat environment.

Participation of PNS SAIF in these exercises was also aimed at further strengthening the bond of friendship between the two countries in pursuance of government of Pakistan's policies to enhance friendly relations.
