Chinese Ambassador Yao Jing calls on Speaker Balochistan Assembly

QUETTA: A delegation headed by Chinese Ambassador Yao Jing called on Speaker Balochistan Assembly Abdul Quddus Bizenjo on Tuesday at his chamber.

Provincial Minister for Labour and Manpower Sardar Sarfraz Chakar Domki and former Interim Chief Minister Balochistan Alauddin Marri were present on the occasion, a press release issued here said.
Speaker Quddus Bizenjo and the delegation members discussed the importance of CPEC projects and mutual interest of both countries in the meeting.

He said Balochistan would give priority in CPEC projects for ensuring share of local people of Balochistan in right direction for development of the area, saying that Balochistan has vast opportunities for investments.
Speaker said China and Pakistan have strong relationship and we are proud of the Pak-China friendship.

Chinese Ambassador Yao Jing said China seeks economic stability in the country including Balochistan and it also wanted to invest in various sectors including agriculture, irrigation, mineral, industrial and other departments.
He said China would be ready for cooperation with local farmers for provision of modern technology in fields of agriculture and irrigation in order to improve agriculture of the province.

Chinese envoy said China desired to establish economic sectors in the province and Balochistan government should cooperate in that regard.
The speaker provincial assembly assured the Chinese ambassador that provincial government would ensure collaboration with the Chinese regarding investments and other projects, saying that people of Balochistan want to see
CPEC in successful condition.
