SC verdict in petition against former DG ISI Lt General Faiz Hameed

The Supreme Court has directed to refer to the relevant forum on the petition filed against former ISI DG Lieutenant General Faiz's actions. Chief Justice Pakistan, Justice Faiz Isa, along with a three-member bench, heard the petition against General (Retired) Faiz Hamid, including allegations of abduction and other charges.
Complainant had appeared in SC against ISI Chief Faiz Hamid regarding alleged irregularities in Top City Housing's transactions, stating that he and family members were unlawfully detained.
The petitioner urged the federal government to take action against responsible individuals. The petitioner appeared in court with his lawyer Hafiz-ul-Rehman Chaudhry. The Chief Justice inquired about the seriousness of the allegations and whether the power of attorney had been submitted. The lawyer responded that they are in the process of collecting the power of attorney, leading to a brief adjournment in the hearing. When the hearing resumed, the Supreme Court suggested the petitioner approach authorized forums.
The Supreme Court rejected the petition against the former ISI DG's actions. It is noteworthy that previously, the Islamabad High Court had issued notices to former Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa and former ISI DG General Faiz Hamid for violating legal constraints after retirement and making misleading statements about various events under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act.
Chief Justice Islamabad High Court Justice Aamer Farooq heard the case of Rauf Pindi's resident Atif Ali and issued a written order on the matter.
