Indian bowling legend Harbhajan Singh shared his insights on Pakistan's chances of reaching the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 semifinals ahead of their upcoming clash against England at Eden Gardens on Saturday.
Following New Zealand's victory over Sri Lanka, Pakistan's prospects of advancing to the knockout stage dimmed. Now faced with a challenging situation, they need to defeat England by 287 runs and successfully chase the target within just 16 balls.
Harbhajan Singh, speaking on a sports channel, expressed his belief that Pakistan's World Cup 2023 campaign is already over. He stated that those thinking otherwise are deceiving themselves.
According to the former India spinner, the task for Pakistan is formidable, as they would need to score 400-450 runs in the match to have a chance of winning by 285 runs. He emphasized that achieving such a high score might be challenging for Pakistan, and England won't make the task easy for them.
