ISLAMABAD: (APP) In Occupied Kashmir, a march will be conducted from the entire Valley towards Jamia Masjid, Srinagar to observe Youm-e-Istiqlal, tomorrow.
Call for the march has been given by joint Hurriyet leadership comprising Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik as part of new protest campaign.
Freedom congregations will be held after Friday prayers in Srinagar that will be addressed by the joint resistance leaders.
Yasin Malik refuses to meet Indian delegation in Hospital
Meanwhile, Indian police arrested Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik after a raid at his residence in Srinagar, today. The authorities also put Chairman of Hurriyet forum, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, under house arrest at his Nageen residence in Srinagar.
The illegally-detained APHC General Secretary, Shabbir Ahmad Shah, in a statement, appealed to the resistance leadership to spearhead the freedom movement while further consolidating their unity in accordance with the wishes of the Kashmiri people.
On the other hand, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism, martyred one more Kashmiri youth in Baramulla, bringing the death toll to three during the last twenty-four hours in the district.
