PM Nawaz Sharif witnesses Pakistan Navy's "Sea Spark 2015" exercise in Arabian Sea

KARACHI: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has arrived in Karachi on one day visit to attend Pakistan Navy’s Sea Spark military exercise. PM observed Pak Navy maritime exercise and expressed his satisfaction over the capabilities of Pak Navy. Earlier on his arrival on-board Pakistan Navy Ship (PNS) Nasr, Nawaz Sharif was received by Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah. Sindh Chief Minister, Governor Sindh, Defence minister and others senior officials were also present with the PM. The Deputy Chief of Naval Staff (Operations) gave a detailed briefing to the Prime Minister on conduct of the exercise and Navy’s salient contributions towards maritime security, coastal development and humanitarian assistance operations. PM Nawaz Sharif said on the occasion that Pak Navy has the ability to face any kind of external and internal security challenge. He further appreciated the professional skills of the Pak Navy.
