Pakistan government completed first phase of the Geographic Information System Survey

Lahore: Federal Minister for Communications and Postal Services Murad Saeed on Sunday said that the National Highway Authority (NHA) has completed the Phase-I of the Geographic Information Systems Survey.
In a statement, the federal minister said that completion of Phase-I of Geographic Information System Survey will significantly increase the revenue of National Highway Authority and this project would prove to be a milestone in terms of utilization of Right of Way.
He added that the Geographic Informatics System Survey was launched in June 2019.
The pilot of the project from Rawalpindi to Kharian has also been completed.
"Work on the remaining roads and Phase 3 will be completed in 2020", Murad Saeed concluded.
