Street children have more right than others: President

ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain has said that street children are valuable part of our society and they have equal rights over all facilities of life.

He said this while talking to Street Child Football Team Players which is going to Russia to participate in Street Child Football World Cup and officials of "Muslim Hands" (INGO) in Islamabad on Wednesday.

He also commended the services of "Muslim Hands" for these children. 

The President stated that "Muslim Hands" rendered remarkable services for mainstreaming the Street Children in various fields of life including sports.

He emphasized that promotion of sports is imperative for establishing a healthy and progressive society and all efforts in this direction are highly commendable.

The President advised the players to always keep their confidence high in the play ground.

He added that players should always accord priority to national respect and honor.

He further advised the players to focus on education in addition to sports because it leads the nations towards the path of development and prosperity.

On the occasion, Minister of State for Religious Affairs Pir Muhammad Amin ul Hasnat Shah said that these children are going to Russia with the passion of success and we hope that they will win laurels for the country.
