Historic win for Mahathir in Malaysia election

In Malaysia, opposition alliance headed by veteran leader Mahathir Mohamad has achieved a historic election victory in the general elections.
The results from the Election Commission showed the opposition grouping won 115 seats over the threshold of 112 seats needed in parliament to form a government.
Mahathir Mohamad had earlier served as Prime Minister from 1981 to 2003. APP
