Saudi Arabia, UK agree to further strengthen bilateral ties

Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom have agreed to develop a deeper and more strategic partnership to enhance mutual interests.

This was agreed in a joint communique issued at the end of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz visit to UK.

It stressed the importance of reaching a political solution to the crisis in Yemen on the basis of Gulf Cooperation Council Initiative.

The two countries reaffirmed their commitment to a two-state solution of Middle East conflict based on the Arab Peace Initiative and the relevant United Nations’ resolutions. APP/AFP
