Light rain brings mercury down

ISLAMABAD: Intermittent rain continues in Rawalpindi, Islamabad and surrounding areas turning the weather pleasant after a severe heat wave.
A met office spokesperson told our correspondent that different cities of Punjab including Bahawalnagar, Kasur, Lahore, Faisalabad and Shorkot have also received light rains.
He said weather in Karachi is also pleasant due to continuing sea breeze in the city. APP/AFP
