NEPRA constitutes committee on issue of excessive load shedding in Karachi July 10, 2020

ISLAMABAD-National Electric Power Regulatory Authority has constituted four-member committee on the issue of excessive load shedding in Karachi.
This was decided during a public hearing on the issue via video link in Islamabad on Friday.
Public representatives, technical experts, representatives of different entities, business community and other consumers of Karachi participated in the meeting.
The Director General Monitoring and Enforcement will chair the committee.
The committee will probe into the matter and will present a comprehensive report next week.
NEPRA reviewed views and comments given by participants regarding the prevailing load shedding situation in Karachi.
The Authority will take further actions after submission of the report.
