European country’s Ambassador wants Islamabad Istanbul train service to be extended to Europe

Bulgarian Ambassador to Pakistan Irena Gancheva has praised the natural beauty of Pakistan and said that the country has a great deal of potential for tourism while stressing that Bulgaria wants to strengthen its trade relations with Pakistan.
In an exclusive interview with 24NewsHD TV, the Bulgarian envoy praised Pakistani leather, sports and agricultural machinery products, saying that Pakistan is the home to these products.
She also called for expansion of Islamabad, Tehran and Istanbul’s railway trade to Sofia (the capital of Bulgaria).
In this way, Pakistani fruits can reach European markets through Bulgaria, she added.
She admitted to the interviewer that she loves Pakistani food a lot and that she had visited Taxila, Lahore, and Karachi.
She rubbished the negative portrayal of Pakistan in European countries and said that she has found the people of Pakistan very warm, positive and hospitable.
