ISLAMABAD:Light to moderate intensity rainfall with snowfall over hills is likely at scattered places in Khaber Pakhtunkhwa, FATA, Upper Punjab, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan on Sunday and Monday.
Rainfall is forecast in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, FATA, in Upper Punjab at Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Gujranwala, Faisalabad and Lahore divisions, Islamabad, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan during the time span.
Rain-thunderstorm is also expected at isolated places in Quetta, Zhob, D.G.Khan, Multan, Sahiwal and Bahawalpur divisions whereas snowfall likely in Malakand, Hazara divisions, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan , Murree and Galliyat during the wet spell.
An official of met office informed APP that westerly wave is likely to enter western parts of the country on Saturday due to which rain likely to occur in upper/central parts of the country which would continue till Monday.
He further said that this rain will be beneficial for Rabi crops.APP/AFP
