FWO starts work on strategic Skardu-Jaglot project

ISLAMABAD – The Frontier Works Organization (FWO) has started work on the widening project of Skardu-Jaglot Road.
According to the ISPR, the project includes five tunnels, including an eight-kilometer tunnel.
After the completion of project, the eight-hour journey will reduce to just three hours. The project will be completed in just two years.
The FWO has distinction of accomplishing several difficult and challenging projects. It played a key role in the completion of 1,300 kilometers Karakoram Highway.
In addition, it made transportation easy by constructing hundreds kilometers of roads in the treacherous terrain of FATA and Balochistan.
