Singer Meesha Shafi launched another move against Ali Zafar

LAHORE - Singer Meesha Shafi has filed an appeal in Supreme Court against the decision of Lahore High Court pronounced on October 11.
According to details, Meesha Shafi has filed an appeal in the top court against the LHC’s October 11 decision in which the court had disposed of a harassment petition filed by singer Meesha Shafi against a fellow artist Ali Zafar.
Meesha has made Ali Zafar, Governor Punjab Chaudhry Sarwar and Women Ombudsperson parties in her appeal.
She pleaded the court to declare LHC verdict as null and void.
Earlier, the Women Ombudsperson Governor Punjab Chaudhry Sarwar had ruled against Meesha Shafi. The Lahore High Court had upheld the decision of the Ombudsperson and Governor Punjab.
It should be noted that in defamation case filed by singer Ali Zafar yesterday, Meesha Shafi appeared before the court and recorded her statement.
