ISLAMABAD- China has imposed sanctions on 11 U.S citizens including legislators in response to America imposition of sanctions on 11 Hong Kong and Chinese officials whom it accused of curtailing political freedom in the city.
At a regular press briefing in Beijing on Monday, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian said China decided to impose sanctions on individuals who have behaved egregiously on Hong Kong-related issues.
