Former PM Imran Khan made history even with his departure

The no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan was successful in the National Assembly, after which he ceased to be the Prime Minister of the country.

PM Imran Khan made history in Pakistan as he became the first ever Prime Minister of the country to be removed through mistrust.

Refusing to vote on the no-confidence motion, Speaker Asad Qaiser resigned and handed over the house to Ayaz Sadiq, after which the proceedings of the meeting were adjourned under his chairmanship.

Meanwhile, government benches in the House were completely vacated and government members walked out of the House.
