Fazal ur Rehman to be made President of Islamic Republic of Pakistan: PDM sources

PDM chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s eyes are on the president’s office and is likely to be nominated for the slot by the joint opposition as already agreed among them.

According to reports, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari is likely to be appointed as the Minister of Foreign Affairs; however, in an interview with a foreign publication, the 33-year-old politician said that the decision regarding the ministership will be taken by his party.

Joint Opposition’s candidate and PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif filed nomination papers to contest the re-election for the slot of prime minister.

Shahbaz Sharif, accompanied by Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Syed Naveed Qamar, Khurshid Ahmed Shah, Mohsin Dawar, and others, submitted his nomination papers to the NA secretariat.

Shahbaz is the joint Opposition's candidate for Prime Minister.
