For the first time in history, Pakistan to go for uniform curriculum, single National Certification across the country

ISLAMABAD - Federal Minster for Education Shafqat Mahmood says the government is introducing 'Single National Certification' for a uniform curriculum in the country’s education system.
Addressing the closing session of National Conference on Human Rights and Democratic Participation in Islamabad, he said a commission has been formed to coordinate with provinces for a consensus and take all stakeholders on board.
The Minister said the discrimination in education led to problems in society.
He said a certain segment decided to opt for English medium teaching model for progress, leaving majority of the population behind.
