Tax proposals relating to IT sector to be given due consideration: Miftah

ISLAMABAD:Advisor to the Prime Minister on Finance, Dr. Miftah Ismail has said that tax relief proposals related to IT and Telecommunications sectors will be given due consideration in the next budget.
He was presiding over a meeting regarding the proposals of the IT ministry in Islamabad.
The meeting noted that the telecom sector has shown impressive growth in the last many years and efforts should be made to further improve the growth momentum.
Meanwhile, talking to a private news channel, the Advisor said the tax net is being widened and people will now have to register them with FBR to purchase property.
