WhatsApp has rolled out an exciting new feature for its users inCalifornia, enabling them to share up to six photos in a single post, similar to a poster or collage. This feature was initially tested inFebruary 2025 and is now available to all users worldwide.
When users upload a status or story on WhatsApp, they will now see a new”Layout” option. This feature allows users to combine six different imagesinto one frame, each occupying a specific section of the layout. Users caneven use the same photo multiple times within the collage, creating aunique visual effect.
Photos shared using this layout will appear in the story as small imageswithin one frame, offering a fresh and attractive way to showcase multiplepictures at once. Currently, the feature supports sharing up to six imagesper post.
Looking ahead, WhatsApp may increase this limit and potentially introducethe option to share videos in a similar layout format. However, no officialdetails have been confirmed about these future updates yet.
This new layout feature adds a creative touch to WhatsApp’s storytellingoptions, enhancing how users share moments and memories with their friendsand family.
