DUBAI – Former president Pervez Musharraf on Sunday conditioned his returnwith guarantee of justice from courts.
As per details garnered, Musharraf was addressing an iftar party here inDubai today.
Musharraf apprised attendants that he was deprived of passport [aftercancellation of computerized national identity court on orders of specialcourt]. Musharraf stressed on letting him practicing politics in Pakistanwithout any fear.
National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) on Thursday hasblocked CNIC of former president Pervez Musharraf.
NADRA officials stated that Musharraf’s CNIC has been blocked in light ofthe orders of the special court hearing treason case against him.
The orders to block the CNIC of the former president were issued after hefailed to inform the court about his the date of return.
Sources privy to development stated that Musharraf’s passport has also beenblocked whereas his banks’ accounts have been frozen following blockage ofCNIC.
With CNIC’s blocking, Musharraf is now unable to sell over 10 propertiesowned by him in Pakistan.
