Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar has stated that if the Supreme Court makes a decision on the elections within 90 days, action will be taken accordingly. During an interview on TV today with anchor Asma Shirazi, the Prime Minister expressed that certain powers have been granted in the economic field, these powers have been given because difficult decisions may be made that political parties might avoid in the future.
The benefit of these tough decisions will be for the public, and any party that comes to power in the future will be bound by these decisions during their tenure.
Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar has mentioned that they are prepared for elections, whether they are held within 90 days or even before January. All the political parties would be allowed to contest the elections. The elections will allow everyone to hold rallies and campaign freely, and voters will have the right to vote for their chosen political leader without any interference from any institution.
He also mentioned that they are waiting for the Election Commission to announce the date, and once the Election Commission announces it, they will complete their preparations accordingly. Supporting the Election Commission and abiding by the formal duty of supporting it will be adhered to, and any decision from the Supreme Court regarding elections will also be followed, as it binds the government's actions.
