Oil and Gas production in Pakistan increases

In Pakistan, there has been an increase in the production of oil and gas throughout the country, with the Pakistan Petroleum Institute (PPI) and the industry releasing statistics. During the week ending on August 31st, the average oil production in the country reached a record of 69,938 barrels per day, which was a 0.4% increase compared to the previous week.
Meanwhile, the average daily gas production in the country was recorded at 3,260 million cubic feet (MMCFD), marking a 1.1% increase compared to the preceding week. In the previous week, the average daily gas production in the country was 3,225 MMCFD.
Furthermore, during the week ending on August 31st, the average daily production of crude oil by Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) was 33,845 barrels, Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) produced 10,988 barrels, Pakistan Oilfields Limited (POL) produced 4,630 barrels, and Mari Gas Company Limited produced 1,051 barrels of raw gas.
